Gothic script with bold and defined strokes makes the Latin language of this book easy to read or recite. According to Brown (p. 115) bilinear or quadrilinear letters are uniform to either 2 sides (bi) or all 4 sides (quad) and were commonly used singularly until closer to the 14th and 15^th centuries when a combination became more common.
